Inspired by her gourmet Grandfather, Debby
remembers spending hours helping him in the kitchen as he shared his passion for cooking with her. Debby cherishes those special
times with her Grandfather and says that his passion and talent for cooking ignited an interest in her at the early age of
nine. Debby has been developing her talents and abilities in the kitchen ever since. After years of entertaining family and friends and managing her family's ancient art gallery business, Debby decided that it was time to fulfill her life long dream of becoming a chef. To do so, she attended and graduated from The Westlake Culinary Institute where she learned that the Private Chef Industry was the perfect solution for her. It is a specialty that allows her to take advantage of her experience and passion for culture and cuisine while at the same time providing her the freedom to also spend time with her husband and two very active boys. Upon graduation in 2004, Debby founded Chef du Jour Personal Chef Service which was changed to “Chef Debby" back in 2007. Debby is a member of The American Personal Chef Association and has attained additional accreditation from the Culinary Business Academy's course of study. Debby continues to attend culinary classes from accomplished chefs to expand her knowledge. For the past seven years, Debby has specialized in creating seasonally inspired cuisine for personal and professional gatherings including hors' d'oeuvre and multi-course dinner parties, Custom Meal Services, as well as Food & Wine pairing events. Debby also does healthy food demonstrations and "In Home' cooking classes. Chef Debby frequents the local Farmers Markets
and enjoys the challenge of creating new recipes for her clients. With many varieties of herbs in her own garden, Debby focuses
on preparing every meal with healthy garden fresh ingredients and well as the best seasonal produce, meats and seafood available.
Since the beginning of her professional cooking career, Debby has built a fabulous clientele of which she is very proud. "When I’m cooking, I’m in my element.
